Hunter Class

Your barrel must be under the size of a dime at the tip of the muzzle or .705”.  The barrel cannot be turned down from the last inch or so to make the .705”, it must have a standard tapper.

Your scope must be limited to 25 power or less.

The hunter class guns will have a weight limit of 13 pounds including any attachments to your gun, example scope rings.

The shooter must be seated on the provided benches, while firing gun, unless your disabled and in a wheelchair etc.

No trigger pull devices allowed.

Muzzle breaks will be allowed.

After-market triggers are allowed.

You can use sandbags for a rest, homemade are fine, however they must be approved by the range director or Performance Shooting, Inc.  You can use purchased sand bags as well, for example the “Caldwell Tack Driver Sand Bag”

Harris style bipod is allowed in the front, and use of a bag in the rear, no Sinclair style bipods allows, if in question please get prior approval with match director.  No large feet allowed on bipod, must use the standard rubber feet that are about the diameter of a quarter.  No spiked feet allowed to dig into the bench. 

Pictured below is a Caldwell Wedge Bag and Protektor model company rear bag, this is allowed in our hunter class.

Pictured below is a Blackhawk bipod and Protektor model company rear bag, this is also allowed in our hunter class.

Pictured below is a Sinclair style bipod, this is not-allowed in our hunter class.

 

Open Class

Any rifle allowed if it meets the below rules, any caliber, any scope; the firearm must be legal in New York State

Most front bipod allowed included F-Class style front bipods for example Sinclair bipods are allowed, and/or sand bags in the front or rear. 

Front rest with built in windage and elevation adjustments are allowed, example “Bald Eagle Style”, your rest cannot be attached to the shooting bench, for example no screwing of rest to the shooting bench.

No lead sleds or similar devices will be allowed. If your device is in question please get approval prior to the shoot from Performance Shooting, Inc.

The open class guns will have a weight limit of 22 pounds including any attachments to your gun, example scope, rings.

The shooter must be seated on the provided benches, while firing gun, unless your disabled and in a wheelchair etc.

No trigger pull devices allowed.

Muzzle breaks will be allowed.

After-Market Triggers are allowed.
